See you in Whittier soon!
Welcome to Whittier
Our Cruises depart from the Cliffside Marina, 100 West Camp Road, Whittier, Alaska 99693.
Explore Whittier Our small seaside community is home to only 200 residents. We encourage our self-drive guests to visit the local coffee shops, browse for gift items or make plans to dine in Whittier after the cruise at one of the restaurants along the harbor. Looking for history? Use the underground pedestrian tunnel to visit the Prince William Sound Museum located on the other side of the railroad tracks. You will find the town is very walkable and most of the main attractions are within half a mile from our dock.
Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel To access Whittier, all self-drive, coach and rail passengers will travel through North America’s longest shared rail and vehicle tunnel. The tunnel was originally built to create a supply line from the Port of Whittier to Interior Alaska. Learn more about the tunnel or take a virtual drive along the Portage Glacier Road that covers the last 12 miles before you reach the tunnel. Our Cruises Include
Industry Exclusive No Seasickness Guarantee We cruise in areas naturally protected from the strong currents found in the Gulf of Alaska by a series of barrier islands on the western side of Prince William Sound through narrow passages and glacier-lined fjords. The seas are generally calm in these fjords and our vessels are large catamarans, providing extra stability for a smooth and comfortable cruise. In the unlikely event you experience seasickness during the cruise, please seek assistance from a crew member.
Hot Meal Included A hot meal will be served shortly after the cruise departs. Complimentary hot coffee, tea and ice water are available as self-serve stations during the cruise. Each vessel has a full-service bar featuring Alaskan craft beers, wine, and cocktails along with a variety of snacks and gift shop items.
Professional Narration Our captain and a ranger from the Chugach National Forest Service will provide narration during the cruise. Rangers are on board from Memorial Day through the end of our season. When the ranger is not present, the captain will provide professional narration.
